Started in the month of March of 2018, the formation of HRhelpdesk Trust as a public charitable institution was the legal shape given to the work being done by our leader, Amarpreet Kaur.
Over the years Amarpreet had been working in making sure that women who find it difficult to navigate a society which puts up hinderances as women want to move from being dependent to interdependent or independent.
Amarpreet’s focus revolved around primarily the workplace, whether it be a daily wage earner, for whom the workplace is the side of a under construction road, or a women going to an urban air-conditioned office.
With the goal of ensuring that every women should be able to have “Dignified and Equal Work Rights", the NGO works day and night in whatever financial capacity Amarpreet and her well wishers provide by way of support.
The NGO uses both online and offline methods to spread the messages and projects to the target audience, which happens to be roughly half of India’s population.
The NGO continues to focus on women and currently runs 3 projects to support the overarching goal of enhancing the ability of women to take control of their lives.
The NGO has it’s registered office in New Delhi and corporate office in Gurgaon with all India operations.
